Assistant Project Manager
Stephanie Bonnici , b.1996 is an arts programme coordinator at Spazju Kreattiv (namely responsible for audience development of families and young people; programming and co-producing of performing arts strand) and festival coordinator for ŻiguŻajg International Arts Festival for Children & Young People.
Graduated with a B.A. Theatre Studies (Honours) from the University of Malta in 2017 with a focus on cultural policy, and a study-abroad experience in Theatre at Clarion University in Pennsylvania. Served as a founding Board member and President of the University Students of Performing Arts Association (USPA); after which she freelanced in arts project/production management with various Public Cultural Organisations; served as Education Programme Executive at Teatru Manoel (National Theatre); and Assistant Project Manager at ARC Research & Consultancy - which services creation, practice, and production within the creative and cultural sectors. Her undergraduate dissertation, entitled Malta’s Cultural Public Sphere and its Interchange with National Cultural Policy, presented proposals for the future of cultural policy in Malta that is mindful of the role of the public sphere. She has developed a growing interest in the correlation between culture and politics - particularly within the current European mindset.
