Report and Analysis

July 2020


This six-week series of conversations was developed from the results of a survey carried out by ARC and formed part of Arts Council Malta's ACMlab series.

The sessions sought to cover topics that enable creative practitioners to deal with the challenges brought on by COVID-19, as well as to present opportunities to evaluate and discuss how the sectors operate on a long-term basis:

The series registered 469 registrations and 280 unique participants, with 34 speakers from local and international organisations, including ACT Malta, Blitz, Culture Action Europe, Department of Sociology - University of Malta, Edinburgh International Festival, European Festivals Association, Festivals Malta, Gabriel Caruana Foundation, HELA Foundation, IETM, LovinMalta, Malta Employers Association, Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Malta Producers Association, MOVEO Dance Company, Pearle*, Step Up for Parkinson’s, Studio 18, Teatru Salesjan, the rubberbodies collective, and ŻfinMalta.
