We are thrilled to have facilitated and supported the bid book process leading to the recommendation of Gozo for European Region of Gastronomy 2026, in collaboration with the Gozo Regional Council and its many stakeholders.**

Gozo's greatest asset undoubtedly lies in its people, who presented their gastronomic offer with immense pride. Rooted in generations of knowledge passed down through families, they bring forth unique skills and traditions that define Gozo's culinary identity.

The bid book also showcased Gozo's commitment to fostering a legacy for future generations, evident in its entrepreneurial spirit and the integration of innovation and sustainability into the region's vision. The jury programme offered exceptional storytelling and experiences that truly captured the essence of Gozo's culinary journey.

Following the jury visit, which included four international experts and was accompanied by Diane Dodd, President of IGCAT - International Institute of Gastronomy, Arts and Tourism, we are delighted to share that Gozo has been recommended for the prestigious title of European Region of Gastronomy 2026.
